September 26th to 28th
2012
Darmstadt (Germany)
Darmstadt (Germany)
Less than three months to go till the 2012 Section
Conference in Darmstadt, Germany. The program is shaping up well, and there
will be three very interesting keynote speakers including Mohan Munasinghe, Ottmar
Edenhofer and Marina Fischer-Kowalski.
The main theme of the
conference is socio-economic metabolism, and we are sure researchers and practitioners
will enjoy discussing advancement of methods for analyzing the dynamics of
physical interactions between socio-economic-environment systems and their
drivers on multiple scales, as well as applying those methods on issues of
strategic relevance for governments, industry and societal stakeholders.
The conference location is the Technische
Universität Darmstadt, one of Germany‘s major technical universities. The
university is situated in the city of Darmstadt, which is located in the heart
of Germany, just 30km away from the metropolis Frankfurt/Main and just 20
minutes from the international airport Frankfurt/Rhein-Main. Further
information may be found at www.mfa2012.tu-darmstadt.de.
We look forward to meeting you at the
conference.
